The launch is just a couple of days away. All 4 bikes are prepared, barring any accidents between now and Wednesday, and the schedule set for this MTB adventure. The plan is to head up the coast, stopping at San Francisco (riding Marin Thursday) then Portland on Friday (riding somewhere) then on to Whistler BC for some real downhill action.
We'll be there from Friday through Tuesday, when we leave for Lake Tahoe. We'll get some
good riding in there before heading down to Mammoth to meet everyone on Thursday night. We'll finish the trip there with a large motley crew of riders and partiers.

Jan and I have visited Whistler - it is gorgeous - but we used a more traditional conveyance.
