Packing

Yeah it takes a whole day to pack. Were pretty much 70% done now. Phil decided today would be a good day to buy a new bike, the day before going on an 11 day mountain bike adventure. Its a Giant Reign X Zero, a beautiful well made bike with an awesome component set that will suit Phil well for this trip. The hassles of buying a new bike are huge, changing parts like pedals and seats not to mention the problems with getting stuff to fit correctly (it never does). Most of the big things are behind us now, with the fun in front of us.

Origionally the plan was to borrow a vehicle from work, buty the moons didn't align fo rthat one so we will soldier on in the Sportsmobile. I'm actually not upset about having to pay for gas, because the luxury of having a sink and fridge as well as all the storage that the van offers is going to be a real convenience. Today she got all cleaned up and an oil change so Big Red is as ready as we are to roll. Departure is scheduled for as soon as possible Wed (as early as I can escape from work). Wish us luck!
